Instructions: .

It takes our crew some time to reload the VLS missile and torpedo tubes, so you can only fire one of each at a time.

You must destroy all ten of the enemy's merchant ships in the top row before you can move on to your next mission. Try not to torpedo hospital ships. It's a violation of international law--and the consequences can be immediate and severe. Skillful maneuvering will be necesary on advanced missions in order to survive exploding depth charges, hostile torpedo fire, and magnetic mines so hone your skills now.

Our subs have limited supplies of missiles, torpedoes and fuel (thanks to the nitwit who screwed up our Nuclear Reactor). We must be resupplied frequently. A supply sub will make regular runs across the ocean bottom and release a trained dolphin named Gertrude carrying armaments and fuel for Clyde, our auxiliary diesel engine. Make contact with Gertrude's supply bundle to resupply our vessel. , whatever you do, don't torpedo Gertrude! She has a lot friends in these waters, and they won't take kindly to it.

Captain's compliments and thanks to the author, Ed Hobbs.
