How To Make a Mummy Dearest Halloween Costume

Wrap your face, neck, arms, hands, feet, and legs in the cotton gauze so that the dress and wig will extend over it. That's the Mummy.

Put on the dress, wig, pearls, and high heels.

Hold wire hangers in your hand, and glare menacingly. That's the Dearest.

Effect: A ghoulishly campy, but riveting, showstopper, especially on a straight guy. Works for crowds even were few are familiar with Mommie Dearest, the 1981 Joan Crawford biopic that earned its star, Faye Dunaway, a Razzie Award.
