BARNHARD'S CLAY MASK

An approximately 18" stoneware slab rolled on coarse canvas, curled at the top and bottom, and molded over a cardboard cylinder to make a 15" mask brushed with Barnhard's Clay which imparts a fiery metallic surface with applied features. Sisel rope was knotted through holes above the ears for wall hanging.

Status: whereabouts unknown.
