PHARAOH'S DAYDREAM

Slab formed, unglazed, low fire mirror frame quickly made from cut off scraps of a larger bowl. The small piece used for the beard suggested the rest of the design.

The white areas on the piece are plaster of Paris dust from the texture and motif stamps used, and the working surface.

A mirror was later pasted behind the opening to give viewers their own pharaonic moment.

Status: broken and gone.
