Raku Bowl with mottled metalic finish.

METALLICA BOWL

About 9" across, the bowl was painted with black glaze and the rim with brown glaze. When dry the whole front side was sprayed with lady's hairspray and fired in a raku kiln, removed from the kiln into sawdust, covered, then plunged into cold water. You gotta love that raku.

Status: still in the potter's personal collection.
