Wheel thrown stoneware tumbler with wide variety of texture tools used.

For once a lack of restraint paid off. I just started marking up this simple tumbler with sgraffito and a variety of texture tools from my kit, rubbed in an iron stain and covered it all in clear glaze.

It has a continent of Africa sort of look and feel for me, thus the name.

Status: still in the potter's personal collection.
