Large stoneware platter with excellent crazing.

This 15" across platter was clear glazed with just a streak of cobalt around the rim. When it came out of the kiln it was okay but a bit blah for something so large. I decided to use the same India inkshotcut for crazing as I did for the Celadon Ginger Jar. That added just the right touch.

I like to serve Salade Nicoise in this. It makes a great presentation.

Status: still in the potter's personal collection.
