Tall stoneware pitcher with clear glaze.

Tall Pitcher

Sooner or later a potter goes for height. This pitcher stands over 16" tall. It's made with the same clay and clear glaze as the platter on the previous page. Probably I didn't try crazing it with the India ink trick because it was too tall to get in my oven. I'm glad I didn't.

Status: gone now, but not forgotten.
